My recent work

Here are two of my recent works, Blooming on the Other Shore–1 and Blooming on the Other Shore–2.

I love planting flowers, admiring flowers, and painting flowers. Flowers bring life and vitality, and they reflect my deep love for nature.

I completed these paintings between 2024 and 2025, years that were especially difficult for me. I lost my best friend, who has now risen to heaven.

During this time of grief and sorrow, I chose to focus on my painting and to learn new things. I explored weaving and Sashiko, and I even learned how to make bread and cookies.

Through these works, I try to transform sadness into bright colors.
